In our institute we offer two kinds of programs: A Course (for one year) and B Course (for one year and a half). These courses are designed for preparing individuals who wish to enter colleges or universities. A Course (from October to March in the next year) Curriculum Weeks School Hours Contents Textbooks Level 1 (Apr. - Sep.) 19 Weeks 380 hours Students will learn "HIRAGANA", "KATAGANA" and KANJI (reading & writing), necessary for daily-life communication as well as the required elementary grammar. The level of this course is equivalent to 3rd- & 4th-grade of the Japanese Proficiency Test. Minna No Nihongo I Translation and Grammatical Notes Exercises Workbook KANJI Level 2 (Oct. - Mar.) 19 Weeks 380 Hours Students will master the use of the previously elementary grammar, and also how to utilize a large vocabulary and Japanese daily life expressions. The level of this course is equivalent to 3rd- & 2nd-grade of the Japanese Proficiency Test. The rules and methodologies of the EJU test to be taken in November will be instructed as well. Minna No Nihongo II Translation and Grammatical Notes Exercises Workbook KANJI Composition for Beginners Total 38 Weeks 760 Hours B Course (From October to 2nd year's March) Curriculum Weeks School Hours Contents Textbooks Level 1 (Oct. - Mar. in next year) 19 Weeks 380 hours Students will learn "HIRAGANA", "KATAGANA" and KANJI (reading & writing), necessary for daily-life communication as well as the required elementary grammar. Also, students will further on the rules and methodologies of the EJU test and advancement to higher education. Textbooks for Intermediate Level Reading / Listening / Writing / Speaking Methodology for the Tests Total 57 Weeks 1140 Hours * Each level’s period is not definite.
